Ravichandran laboratory in the University of Virginia Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Cancer Biology seeks a Research Associate to study cholesterol regulation in cells. The successful candidate must be a recent PhD graduate or have a PhD in hand by the start date in a related bioscience area with first author publications, and demonstrated experience in cell biology and signaling, as well as experience in both in vitro studies, and in vivo mouse models. Specifically, we are interested in candidates with experience in the areas of cholesterol regulation in cells, LXR signaling, and receptors involved in phagocytic uptake of cells and other particles.
