The Body Imaging Fellowship at the University of Utah has a position for the July 2017- June 2018 academic year. The fellowship is comprised of multimodality abdominal pelvic imaging with an MR emphasis including hepatobiliary, transplant, prostate, rectal and gynecologic MRI, as well as MR enterography and dynamic pelvic floor MR. The body fellows lead an active biopsy service which includes a high volume of US and CT-guided procedures. University Healthcare (top ten prestigious Quality Leadership Award 6 years in a row, matched by only one other health system in the U.S.) and Huntsman Cancer Institute (the only NCI designated Elite Comprehensive Cancer Center in the five-state Intermountain West) provide a wide mix of cases. The exceptional and friendly subspecialty faculty have prepared our fellows to successfully join both academic and private practices. Fellow-specific educational activities include monthly journal club and bimonthly rad-path correlation with review of interesting cases. The program is part of a very collegial learning environment, located in a vibrant urban environment. Utah is famous for easy access to skiing, hiking, and myriad other outdoor activities. In order to qualify for our fellowship you must also qualify for a State of Utah Medical License, which requires 2 years of ACGME training in the United States.
