A postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Dr. Wei Dai at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Research areas of primary interest include protein aggregation in neurodegenerative diseases and bacterial microcompartment structure. The lab is hosted in the Center for Integrative Proteomics Research, co-located with the RCSB Protein Data Bank and the EMDataBank. In addition to a brand new cryoEM/ET facility that is equipped with a state-of-the-art electron microscope and a direct electron detector, core facilities housed within the Center include instrumentation for protein NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and hardware for high performance computing.
