Job Description Summary:
Provide workforce education instruction in multiple topics of supervision, including specialty topics and specialty areas, such as first-line supervision, management, and/or leadership.
Essential Duties :
Provides lecture and hands-on instruction in area of expertise.
Follows published schedule of classes.
Covers all course competencies in instruction.
Develops, grades, administers and facilitates quizzes, exams, hands-on practicums or other tools used to evaluate student progress.
Maintains knowledge of, and exhibits, current methodology in area of instruction.
Manage classroom activities by enforcing standards, rules and regulations.
Promotes a culture of customer service.
Recruits students and maintains active student enrollment through quality classroom instruction and student communication.
Assists students in search for job opportunities and prepares students for job interviews.
Provides feedback to the Director on course progress, suggested improvements, or problems that may impact program quality or stability.
Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
At least 5 years’ experience as a manager or supervisor.
Demonstrated successes as a manager or supervisor.
Knowledge of basic principles of supervision and management.
Some higher education.
Demonstrated proficiency in English; Written and verbal skills.
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Professional development or certification in management, supervision, customer service, human resources, etc.
