| Rowan University is a comprehensive state-designated research institution with approximately 16,000 students. Its main campus is located in Glassboro, N.J., 20-miles southeast of Philadelphia, and it has a branch campus and medical school in Camden and a second medical school in nearby Stratford. Rowan is the second university in the country to offer M.D. and D.O. medical-degree granting programs. The Department of Civil and Environment Engineering is searching for adjuncts who have an interest and expertise in teaching lower and upper division civil and environmental engineering courses. The candidate should possess baccalaureate and master's degrees in engineering, or a related field and should have demonstrated evidence of effective teaching.
Some areas we may have needs for in the upcoming semesters are:
Basic Engineering courses (e.g., Statics, Solid Mechanics, Surveying, Engineering Graphics, Environmental Engineering, Fluid Mechanics)
Project-based courses (e.g., Senior Design)
Upper level and graduate CEE courses in Structures, Transportation, Geotechnical, Water Resources, and Environmental Engineering
