Duties and Responsibilities:
The University of Houston School of Nursing on the UH Sugar Land Campus seeks a qualified applicant for a non-tenure track 9 month lecturer position beginning August 2016.
Responsibilities include: undergraduate or graduate classroom and/or clinical instruction using on-site, simulation, on-line and distance education strategies; some travel; evaluation of student performance, communication with program managers and clinical learning coordinator.
The School of Nursing is proud of its excellent Second Degree BSN, RN-BSN and MSN academic programs, innovative web enhanced education, simulation laboratory, and supportive student environment for both face-to-face and distance learning. Ability to teach a variety of upper level undergraduate specialty areas is a plus. We value diversity in our faculty, students and staff at all levels of instructional support.

1. Master's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited and professionally accredited school of nursing.
2. Candidate must possess licensure as a registered nurse in Texas.
3. Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
4. Excellent clinical and communication skills.
5. Certification in nursing specialty.
Teaching experience preferred.
