Assistant/Associate/Full HS Clinical Professor- MED- Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine
The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu) at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is actively recruiting for a board certified or board eligible physician in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. This position may also be appointed with the VA San Diego Health System, and will primarily support Sleep Medicine patient care, interpretation of sleep recordings, supervision of respiratory and sleep technicians, and clinical teaching. The candidate will also attend at the medical ICU and/or pulmonary consultation service at UC San Diego Health and VA San Diego Health System. Program support and facilities are exceptional and opportunities exist for a generous incentive-based compensation plan.
Applicants must be eligible for California medical license and board certification/eligibility in sleep medicine and critical care medicine. The Department is interested in candidates who have demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical care and teaching. Scholarly activity and service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment is required.
