Summary Description: The Division of Nuclear Medicine, Department of Radiology and the Kreitchman PET Center at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University Medical Center invites applications for a tenured or tenure track clinical faculty position and leadership role as Director of the PET Center. Responsibilities will include management of the Kreichman PET Center, patient care, active participation in resident and fellowship education, and participation in clinical and/or basis research. The candidate should be well-established in the field of nuclear medicine and have a successful academic record including excellence in clinical care, effectiveness in graduate teaching, and a strong interest in research that will advance the field of nuclear medicine and PET imaging.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must be board certified in Radiology and/or Nuclear Medicine, and must be eligible to obtain a license to practice in the State of New York. The ideal candidate is expected to have a track record in successful NIH funding and quality publications in peer reviewed journals, a strong leadership track record in managing a clinical division, and the desire to further develop a nationally prominent collaborative research effort. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications: Training and experience in speciality or subspecialty.
