Department of Neurology, University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine seeks a full-time candidate to work within the following Specialty: Stroke.
Position summary: This position plans, directs, leads and coordinates the development and implementation of a Stroke Program at Keck Medical Center of USC, providing oversight and coordination of all elements of the Stroke Program in collaboration with the Chief of the Stroke Division. The focus of the program is RAPID evaluation and treatment of acute stroke, an integrated approach towards patient outcomes, stroke awareness, stroke prevention, community outreach and education. Responsibilities include networking and creating partnerships with key leaders within the organization and in the community. The candidate will provide leadership in identifying current and future needs for growth and the means to achieve program goals, and will serve as a resource and mentor. A candidate must have the following qualities, education and experience:
Knowledge of Neurology and Stroke
Masters level education in Nursing, or Health Care Related Field
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office programs, website & social media navigation, and mobile apps
Familiarity with research
Experience with teaching, including peers, patients and community
Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills
Experience with community outreach
Interest in business development and marketing
