PROGRAM CHIEF FAMILY AND COMMUNITY MEDICINE at the UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SAN FRANCISCO FRESNO MEDICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM AND VICE-CHAIR UCSF DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY AND COMMUNITY MEDICINE
The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and the Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG) are currently recruiting for an experienced academic physician at the Associate or Full Professor level to lead its Family and Community Medicine program and serve as Vice-Chair in the UCSF Department of Family and Community Medicine. Responsibilities include department leadership, teaching residents and students, clinical research and participation in community practice. The program is based at Community Regional Medical Center including a new ambulatory facility with a Family Health Center. Other rural hospital and FQHC sites also participate in the program. Applicants must be board certified in Family Medicine and should have an established record of teaching and clinical excellence. Research experience is desirable. Faculty appointment with UCSF will be commensurate with the applicant’s background and accomplishments.
The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living.
