The Departments of Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Emergency Medicine of Keck Medicine of USC are recruiting two surgical intensivists to practice critical care at Keck Hospital of USC, University of Southern California (USC). We seek BC faculty at the Assistant Professor level who have obtained added qualifications in critical care or who are board-eligible. Departmental (joint) appointments will be determined based on specialty training. Demonstrated interest in teaching or research is required; the ideal candidate will have a history of scholarship and evidence of recognition in the field of critical care. Faculty will collaborate as part of an inter-professional ICU team on a broad range of initiatives that include performance improvement, informatics, tele-medicine, global health, engineering, and business. Leadership and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
