Posting Summary: The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for a tenure-eligible clinical faculty position. The incumbent will help to further develop a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary cerebrovascular clinical and research program working in a collaborative fashion with colleagues in Neurosurgery, Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology and Stroke Neurology. Support will be provided to facilitate development of a laboratory and clinical research program focused on cerebrovascular disease. Rank is dependent upon qualifications.
Candidates must have an MD, completed a residency in neurological surgery, and be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurosurgery. A demonstrated track record of successful research activity is required. Preference will be given to candidates with significant expertise and fellowship training in cerebrovascular/endovascular surgery.
