The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, Rutgers University invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL, or often referred to as adjunct or part-time) teaching positions in health management/administration, to commence during the 2016-2017 academic year (September 1, 2016 for the Fall Semester and February 1, 2017 for the Spring Semester). The School offers an undergraduate Health Administration major leading to a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree and will launch its Master of Health Administration (MHA) program in January, 2017. Applicants should have both instructional and health administration experience.
Successful applicants will staff undergraduate or graduate level courses in a demonstrated specialization content area. The School is inviting applicants qualified to teach in a wide range of courses in the Health Administration programs including: Management, Leadership, Operations, IT, Health Economics, Finance and Financial Management, Insurance, Human Resources, Marketing, and more. Courses will be offered in a range of modalities beyond traditional settings, including hybrid and online formats. While most course appointments are in the New Brunswick area, teaching opportunities also exist in the Atlantic County region, as well as for professionals with online teaching experience.
