This position functions as administrative support to the staff of the Office of Undergraduate Education and Academic Support and Access Center (UEAS). Specifically, the position supports the Dean of Undergraduate Education and UEAS Leadership team, while also performing general administrative functions that facilitate the smooth running of UEAS office, under the supervision of the Executive Assistant to the Dean of Undergraduate Education.
Responsibilities will include general office management tasks (such as calendar management, purchasing of office supplies, meeting and event scheduling, monitoring the UEAS databases, and assisting with enhancement of the program’s online presence (website and social media).
The Administrative Assistant should have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and enjoy working on multiple projects at one time.
The individual in this position manages logistical preparation and implementation for UEAS meetings and events, and supports the Executive Assistant to the Dean of Undergraduate Education in the daily running of the UEAS office’s academic and programmatic mission. Individual duties may include (but are not limited to):
Managing the calendar for the Dean of Undergraduate Education
Managing all logistical preparation for UEAS events and meetings such as room reservation, marketing and publicity, catering, and set-up/breakdown
Managing the Undergraduate Education databases, and assisting with website maintenance and updates
Processing documentation to facilitate staff and student reimbursements
Managing UEAS email distribution lists and email accounts
Occasional data entry in UEAS SharePoint databases
