Job Description Summary The Nurse Anesthesia Department in the College of Health Profession at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science welcome applications for a full-time Administrative Director. The Administrative Director of the Department of Nurse Anesthesia makes possible the development, implementation and on-going evolution of cutting-edge, technology-driven departmental processes that enable faculty to focus nearly exclusively on curriculum, teaching, research and service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities • In consultation with the Department Chair, create, execute, and oversee integrated systems of administration, communication, scheduling, and evaluation that efficiently align the department’s processes with its mission and vision; the mission and vision of CHP and RFUMS; the standards of the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs; and external stakeholders. • Develop and execute an ongoing training seminar for students dealing with curriculum vitae development and interviewing techniques. • Oversee and execute comprehensive, integrated departmental processes in close communication with the Chair. • Investigate, develop, and make recommendations to the Chair regarding strategies for on-going improvements to departmental processes. • Represents a central, cohesive position that supports faculty and student processes.
Required Education & Experience • Bachelor’s Degree. • Supervisory experience. • Customer service. • Budget management and reporting. • Must achieve a background check clearance.
