A Vice President in the Complex Asset Group at Fidelity Charitable works with UHNW philanthropists, their advisors, transaction attorneys and wealth advisors to facilitate charitable donations of private capital investments. Serving at the intersection of wealth creation and philanthropy, you will help make more of a difference for private capital investors, and their advisors, who are increasingly seeking more strategic ways to leverage their growth investments to maximize their philanthropic impact.
The Expertise We're Looking For
B.A. or B.S degree required
CPA preferred, not required
CFP a plus
Minimum of 5 years year of law firm or in-house experience preferred
Experience in taxation, private equity, and the private capital ecosystem desired
Experience working with financial intermediaries, T&E attorneys, CPAs, CFPs for wealth planning purposes
Interest/exposure to philanthropy, charitable fundraising and planned giving a plus
5 years relationship management experience
Experience and high level of competence in the areas of due diligence and assessment of risk, including product liability and securities disclosure in connection with public M&A activity

Our team serves as the first call for advisors and their founder, management team, C-suite executive, entrepreneur, early investor, employee/shareholder, and LP investor clients, seeking to leverage the appreciation and value in their equity shares for philanthropy. Some private companies have stock liquidity programs and some are preparing for a corporate action. Either way, these private capital investors rely on our Private Company Stock expertise to facilitate tax-advantaged charitable giving.

The Value You Deliver
Business-as-Usual: On the East Coast you will work directly with private capital investors and their advisors through the entire charitable giving process - from inquiry to completion of charitable transfers and closings/funding of the donor advised fund, you'll create lasting relationships and generate referrals.
Business-as-Usual: On the East Coast you will d evelop a high level of competence in the areas of due diligence and assessment of risk, including securities disclosure in connection with public and private M&A activity
Business-as-Usual: On the East Coast you will engage with and develop strong working relationships with donors, corporate issuers, in-house and outside counsel, the Complex Asset Group Service Delivery Team, Fidelity Charitable's Investment Oversight and Cryptocurrency Groups, Fidelity Charitable's Fundraising Staff and Fidelity's Legal, Compliance and Risk Management teams, and day-to-day interaction with corporate counsel for private company businesses, CFOs and investor relations teams.
Territory and Team Partnership Responsibilities: You will be expected to inspire and innovate from Day 1 and identify opportunities to grow and evolve the complex asset gifting adoption in the territories you serve but nationwide through collaboration with various stakeholders and in an effort to implement best practices that create excitement about the strategy for advisors and donors alike. You may manage directly or indirectly teammates at all levels and across the organization to maximize outcomes. You will partner with Fundraising Leadership and PDG Leadership to ensure alignment of activity and metrics with annual goals.
Practice Management, Marketing and Thought Leadership Responsibilities: You'll routinely partner closely with the VP of Practice Management and the Director of Marketing to evolve, develop and deliver advanced and highly-impactful Complex Asset Practice Management programming and partner to deliver a robust and highly-impactful practice management modules both internally and externally. You will work with Marketing to develop creative and high-impact strategic marketing and thought leadership including, as appropriate, social media initiatives.
You will work on cross-functional initiatives that will increase awareness of the donor advised fund charitable solution and its benefits for the UHNW community and their advisors.
