Nemours is seeking an Interprofessional Education Coordinator (Full-Time) to join our Nemours Children's Hospital team in Orlando, Florida.
Located in Orlando, Fla., Nemours Children's Hospital is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. Our 100-bed pediatric hospital also features the area's only 24-hour Emergency Department designed just for kids as well as outpatient pediatric clinics including several specialties previously unavailable in the region. The Interprofessional Education Coordinator is a new position developed by a collaborative group of education stakeholders at Nemours Children's Hospital. The Interprofessional Education Coordinator will assist in facilitating common needs in an efficient way to improve interprofessional collaborative practice. This position will coordinate activity logistics, facilitate activities, lead evaluation, and serve as the workspace for new interprofessional education programming.
This position is responsible for facilitation, implementation and execution of Nemours interprofessional educational interventions/events in accordance with all Nemours policies. This includes ensuring seamless communication with all stakeholders. The Education Interprofessional Coordinator will assist, coordinate and facilitate the educational interventions that are needed for an interprofessional target audience of clinicians (e.g. physicians, nurses, EMTs, social workers, and pharmacists).

Plan and execute educational interventions/events in collaboration with the program director/planning committee. Develop timeline and ensure deadlines for deliverables are met.
Collect and submit outcomes data to NCH Safety Officer, interprofessional education leaders and other stakeholders.
Communicate regularly, in writing and orally, with interprofessional stakeholders and leaders in quality and safety and education to assure coordination of information necessary for a successful interprofessional educational program.
Instruct learners interprofessional if utilizing simulation equipment and/or team based scenario training.
Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor.
Associate's degree required. Baccalaureate degree in a health related area preferred and/or training in a relevant health profession (e.g. Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse).
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience required.
RN, LPN, EMT, RT, or PharmD preferred.
Previous clinical or experience in educational programming would be helpful.
Effective and timely project management, inclusive of both internal and external resources.
Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain comprehensive relationships with internal and external colleagues, customers and vendors.
Thorough knowledge of financial accounting and budgeting
Ability to work flexible schedule and travel to multi-day off-site meetings.
