Position Title: Sport Management Faculty (9-month faculty contract)
Reports to: Chair, School of Kinesiology
The School of Kinesiology, as an academic unit of Southern Nazarene University, is charged with meeting the demand for new and relevant academic programs that equip students for a successful careers in Athletic Training, Pre-Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Physical Education, Sport and Leisure, and Sport Management.

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual with a strong commitment to teaching excellence, scholarship, and program development. The new faculty member serve as a member of the School of Kinesiology with responsibility for teaching Sport Management within the traditional undergraduate program, with some potential assignments in graduate studies. Additional responsibilities will include advising traditional undergraduate students as well as service within the department and university.
Masters degree required, doctorate preferred with at least 18 graduate hours in Sport Management from an accredited institution.
Three years of successful teaching experience, including face-to-face and online delivery.
Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment with interest in active and collaborative learning as well as instructional use of technology.
Experience in creating courses and evaluating outcomes.
