If you are located in Spokane County, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. Primary ResponsibilitiesComplete a full history and physical assessment for patients in their homes Submit documentation at the completion of the assessment Travel to patients' homes or nursing homes Since this position involves in-home visits, the ability to work autonomously and travel extensively will be required. You should also be comfortable and adept at completing extensive EMR documentation and management within multiple systems.
Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted license to practice nursing in the state of assignment Nurse Practitioner certification from either the ANCC or AANP 1+ year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and/or patient sites within a designated area Must be able to effectively communicate with elderly and chronically ill patients (including patients with illnesses like Alzheimer's, dementia and mental health conditions) and their familiesPreferred QualificationsUnderstanding of dual populations who are enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid is beneficial Geriatric or adult medicine specialty experience Bi-lingual or multi-lingualIf you want more meaning in your career, take this opportunity and apply.
