In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of provider logistics which include demand management and coaching workforce management. Primary Responsibilities:Responsibilities include expert level oversight and execution of the following:Develop a clear strategy that ensures long and short term planning, real time management, business continuity of provider demand management are aligned to Real Appeal's financial activitiesForecast member, coach and class volumes and resource needs based on historical data / metrics, identify trends / patterns and make appropriate recommendationsStrategically evaluate staffing levels across coaching disciplines to achieve an optimal balance of efficiency, service and expense (e.g., identify opportunities to offset costs, budget planning / controls)Develop and maintain workflows and standard operational procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and operationally efficientEstablish and implement service level agreements in order to ensure ability to monitor and measure operational performancePerform real-time analyses of performance data and respond appropriately (e.g., monitor intra-day activities, adjust schedules, perform trend analyses)Provide input to internal and/or external stakeholders in order to drive effective operational plans. This includes collaborating with other functional area leaders to assess operational impacts and supportWork with relevant internal partners (e.g., Finance) to identify resource requirements and/or create budgets and forecastsLead and develop people, bringing in the right talent, fostering teamwork, inter-departmental collaboration, and employee engagement
Required Qualifications:10 or more years of progressive experience in complex, cross company initiatives and/or operations management experienceSolid operational knowledge of customer servicesExperience with successful execution of operational deliverables, developing action plans to accomplish goals and providing ongoing updates on progressIntermediate to advanced proficiency with software/systems and automated database management systems (SQL, Access, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)Workforce Planning backgroundPreferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higherHealthcare industry experienceSoft Skills:Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, proven ability to navigate, influence, and negotiate complex and matrix reporting relationshipsAbility to maintain focus and a positive attitude in ambiguous or high pressure situations Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment which requires creativity and self-motivation Careers at UnitedHealth Group.
