Summary: Responsible for assisting providers with patient care, which also includes clerical or other environmental responsibilities within the offices as deemed necessary. The medical assistant utilizes technology set in place for scheduling patient appointments, preparing medical records and documenting appropriate information in the electronic medical record. They provide guidance and instruct patients as per the medical provider directives.
