Perform frontline tasks, including answering main clinic telephone, distributing parking passes, and receiving courier packages and hearing aids dropped off by clients for repair.
Enter data into Epic electronic medical record system
Register clients (includes collection of insurance information, some required paper forms that are scanned and attached to the electronic medical record
Send reports to external providers
Check clients in/out, including collection of cash from audiology clients.
Schedule therapy rooms.
Assist clinical graduate students as needed
Function as a Team Member within Department and CLAS.
Collect self-payment forms for services. This includes creation and maintenance of financial records for clients, processing of payments, and ensuring student clinicians (and when relevant, the clinic business manager and/or supervisors) have access to updated information regarding client account status in Epic records system.
Provide consistent and accurate information regarding clinic policies and procedures to clients (via phone and in person) and to graduate student trainees.
Exerts sensitivity, discretion, and professionalism at all times when interacting with clients, colleagues, faculty supervisors, and student clinicians.
Be present and available for client walk-ins and phone calls during business hours.
Respond to inquiries from faculty, staff, students and visitors.
