Watch this video to learn more about Optum Technology Careers Primary Responsibilities:Assess and interpret customer needs and requirementsIdentify/quantify scope and impact of business changes on systemsIncorporate software and system architecture into conceptual designsSupport applicable modeling efforts (e.g., data modeling, process modeling, hardware modeling, performance modeling) Provide oversight of conceptual designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture governance (e.g., principles, policies, standards, future-state reference architectures)Switch between developer and architect roles quickly for the overall software executionChampion emerging Big Data/NOSQL/Streaming technologies and drive POCs for efficiency gains in software deliveryThe complexity of this role can be challenging.
