Primary Responsibilities:Focused efforts on increasing cash and reducing bad debtApply payments and denials to third party carriers in all media typesInterpret Explanation of Benefits for appropriate follow up actionComplete refunds / adjustments to customer's accounts, while providing necessary back-up information in order to maintain accuracy
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDBasic experience with Microsoft Excel with the ability to create and edit a spreadsheetBasic Math skillsAvailable to work an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday between 7:00 am - 3:30 pmPreferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Access with basic navigation skills in the databasesSoft Skills:Excellent communication skillsDemonstrated problem solving skillsGood organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work overtime as needed, based on department needsPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activityCareers with OptumInsight.
