Provides general information; interprets and responds to student inquires received via telephone, e-mail, web-based technologies, and walk-in students regarding the various enrollment services processes and offerings of the College (including the application process, processing refunds, program changes, withdrawals and appeals).
Assists students in course registration, and may determine student's course eligibility.
Coordinates selective admissions program lists and registration process.
May facilitate international student admissions process.
Communicates effectively and professionally with students, internal departments, and external entities to resolve difficult and complex customer issues.
Gathers information from students in order to understand and evaluate individual circumstances; interprets relevant policies, procedures and guidelines to determine best course of action. Seeks to understand others' personal background and situation and uses this understanding to provide appropriate guidance and service.
Utilizes Banner, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and other system software to enter, locate, and/or update student's information, and track their interaction with the College. Scans and indexes enrollment related documents into Banner.
May receive and answer questions forwarded from other student affairs areas when staff are unavailable; logs calls received for reporting and resolution purposes.
Participate in Enrollment campaigns that reach out to prospective and current students by phone to meet overall enrollment goals Administer placement testing exams as needed.
Answer financial aid questions including identifying missing documents and reviewing aid awarded.
Must maintain knowledge of Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and commit to operating in compliance 100% of the time.
Assists in the training of new employees.
Participates in professional development activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Associate degree or equivalent and over one (1) year of relevant experience.
Bilingual skills preferred.
