Work Schedule: To be determined. The position requires that the incumbent work outside of assigned hours on certain occasions, and the willingness to travel domestically.

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Academic Programs in the College of Extending Learning (CEL), the incumbent will be responsible for providing information and guidance to prospective students on degree and professional programs, assisting prospective and current students with suitable solutions during time of enrollment and admission process, student retention services, advising and counseling, and attending recruitment fairs to promote CEL programs.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following job duties:
Acquire prospective student information for student recruitment to degree and professional programs;
Evaluate student needs and direct, guide, and/or advising of available services;
Coordinate and administer programs and projects;
Maintain accurate student information and status in CRM or database;
Attend recruitment fairs to promote CEL programs;
Assist the prospective student in next steps in the Admission process, missing documents/transcripts until applicants are fully admitted or denied;
Interact with students and follow up to inquire about progression in the programs at time specified for each program;
Identify solutions to ensure student retention in the programs, provide counseling and advising to students to develop a plan for retaining them in degree and professional programs;
Prepare weekly reports on recruitment and enrollment activity, conduct presentations to campus stakeholders on performance of programs in regards to enrollments and retention services;
Provide prospective students with information regarding the preadmission process, scheduling and conducting student orientations, advocating for student needs and identifying solutions in collaboration with campus partners;
Run reports to monitor student engagement in online programs;
Prepare quarterly reports with an analysis of each program;
Maintain Student Handbook for each program and update as needed.
The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.
Applicants must possess the following:
Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college or university (or equivalent work experience);
Minimum of two years of professional level experience in one of the student services program areas or in a related field.
Experience with gathering and analyzing data, and developing reports;
Knowledge of interviewing and counseling techniques to facilitate enrollments;
Familiarity with conducting orientations for students;
Demonstrated record of organizational skills and attention to detail;
Strong interpersonal communication skills;
Excellent oral and written English communication skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Access);
Candidates must be willing to maintain a flexible work schedule, occasionally working evenings and weekends and to travel domestically.
Experience in coordinating and administering programs, events or projects, preferably in higher, extended, or adult education.
