Department Name: 7A100:Dentistry - Administration & Finance
This position is responsible for performing instrument cleaning, sterilization and packaging; and the distribution and collection of dental procedural/surgical kits and instruments. The successful candidate will assuring patient safety and infection control while providing exceptional customer service.
To be considered for this position, candidates must posses upon hire or obtain within 2 years sterile processing certification as a condition of employment. Must maintain the certification throughout employments.
Accuracy, attention to detail, hand & finger dexterity & motor skill, knowledge of sterilization and packaging processes & procedures, knowledge of safety hazards, maintaining records/logs and proper chain of command, teamwork, flexibility, positive attitude and behaviors, ability to work in a stressful environment. Must posses or receive Sterile Processing certification (CSBPD or IAHCSMM) withing 2 years and must maintain the certification throughout employment.

Experience in sterile processing in a dental setting preferred
