Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Apply thorough knowledge and understanding of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCIDSS) and how these standards apply to technology and process administration for the University’s merchant card acceptance and cash management programs.
Demonstrate knowledge of cash management principals and internal controls in a governmental setting to support the University’s Cash Management Plan.
Apply thorough knowledge of the University’s ERP system as it relates to the acceptance and security of merchant card transactions and cash management procedures.
Apply knowledge of how the University’s banking system and banking relationships operate.
Routinely identify administrative gaps in PCIDSS compliance programs and make recommendations on solutions to manage compliance gaps.
Facilitate communication between the University Treasurer’s Office and the Office of Information Security on issues related to PCIDSS.
Communicate PCIDSS requirements to campus departments through regular verbal and written communication.
Develop, monitor, and communicate changes tot he University’s PCIDSS compliance program through verbal and written communication in conjunction with regular training as required by the standards.
Identify PCIDSS Compliance issues and evaluate issues in order to develop recommendations for corrective actions.
Experience with the implementation, development, of a PCIDSS Compliance program.
