Working Title Data & Prospect Research Coordinator
Eastern Washington University is currently recruiting for a Data & Prospect Research Coordinator. This position provides oversight of the database related applications (Reeher) by ensuring data integrity and providing leadership on the effective use of the software to others in the department. This position manages Reeher which is a dashboard application with strong predictive modeling. The Data & Prospect Research Coordinator is responsible for donor and prospect research and assisting in prospect management. This position will work directly with the Development Officers to ensure effective management of donor data.

This position will require an individual who performs well under pressure and can meet multiple deadlines while working on several concurrent projects.
This is an agency shop.
Ability to lift 15 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and sit as needed for office and computer work.
Wrist and hand movements required as needed for keyboarding.
Ability to be mobile campus wide for appropriate business needs.

Three years of experience in prospect research, prospect management, or data analysis, ideally in a mission-driven, philanthropically supported non-profit or higher education.
Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience.
Advanced experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) to include data query, extraction, importing, formatting and understanding schemas.
Analyze data to make accurate projections using business mathematics and statistical techniques;
Work independently with little or no supervision or collaboratively as a member of a team as appropriate.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency using specialized data sources such as iWave PRO, WealthEngine, and LexisNexis relevant to fundraising.
Extensive computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize high volume of information and problem-solving
Candidate must demonstrate interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency, universal accessibility and/or diversity
Experience with information resources and publications, including fundraising databases and online services highly preferred.
Experience with Millennium, Reeher or customer relationship management software
Experience with subscription based online research tools
Ability to program in SQL, PHP, XML, VB4, or other industry-standard languages
