This role sits within a functional support team that works with the Southeast region supporting the Community and State value based contracting health plan efforts to provide optimal, affordable care for our members. This position will provide analytic support and consultation to local market health plans related to the modeling, analysis, and administration of required reporting and payments for C&S VBC agreements. Primary Responsibilities:Interpret and analyze data and recommend best approaches Provides management with statistical findings, explanations and conclusions Provides data in support of actuarial, financial and utilization analyses Performs complex data validation and conceptual analyses Serves as subject matter expert to a health plan in support of value based contracting strategy Lead projects to completion by contributing to data analysis and financial reporting Prepare target models in support of customer requests, following contracting guidelines Complete physician scorecard reports according to terms of VBC agreements and present to Health Plan
Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 4 years minimum work experience in a corporate setting 2+ years' experience in data analytics Intermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc. Beginner level of proficiency working with MS AccessPreferred Qualifications:Medicaid experience Financial analysis in a healthcare setting Experience with SQL or SAS for data extraction and manipulation 4-year College Degree (Bachelor Level) in Finance, Accounting, or Business Careers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
