Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Revenue Cycle Analyst. In this role, the successful candidate will ensure timely, accurate and quality Inpatient report creation and distribution. Confer with Sr. Director to design and create new reports or modify existing ones. Perform account analysis as necessary for the purposes of designing, creating, or completing reports.
Create and maintain archival report retention method and system. Retain files and reports in a way that enables easy access to historical data while maintaining data security. Receive and respond to requests for new reports and historical data, coordinate response and delivery with management advice to ensure appropriateness of requests and timeliness and accuracy of information to be distributed.
Assist management in account and data analysis for purposes of creating new reports, ensuring the ongoing integrity of existing reports and to assess data for purposes of report creation/presentation.
Monitor all reports for unusual trends or aberrations and alert management as the need arises. Perform account/data analysis to understand information being reported and for purposes of existing/new report creation. Receive addresses and resolve inquiries/requests regarding reports and/or report content.
Run, import and convert A/R Management system reports into prescribed formats for distribution, ensuring quality, timeliness, legibility and accuracy. Work with Management’s input to create new reports. Maintain current and accurate Report Matrix that outlines Campus Name, Report Name/Number, Brief Description, Frequency and Distribution.
Create and distribute intradepartmental and interdepartmental reports for purpose of monitoring and reporting on Account Receivables, RCO and External Department activities. Extract and import data from RCO A/R Management system (HTS). Organize, and format data according to instructions and per existing report templates, ensuring quality, legibility and accuracy. Maintain, arrange and format graphs to convey data in an informative and clear manner.
Drive data collection.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Associate's Degree or higher
Minimum of three years of experience in hospital Patient Accounting or in a related field of which two must be directly related to the position or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated thorough knowledge of reporting, report/database applications, and accounts receivable operations required.
Proficiency with automated patient information or accounting systems. Knowledge of personal computers required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Demonstrated leadership ability required
