Position Title: Recruitment and Admissions Advisor

The Recruitment and Admissions Advisor will promote the UB Executive and Professional MBA programs by implementing recruitment strategies aimed at local and regional working professionals and the business community. Work as part of a team to assist the overall operation of the Executive and Professional MBA programs. The position requires efficiency, attention to detail and good interpersonal and writing skills. Integrity is essential as the employee has access to student files, which contain confidential information.
Will work closely with the School of Management faculty, staff, current and prospective students in order to accomplish the following tasks that promote the UB Executive and Professional MBA programs by implementing recruitment strategies aimed at local and regional working professionals and the business community.
Specific tasks would include: Responsibility for working with Assistant Director to recruit quality applicants for the Executive and Professional MBA programs. Tasks will include:
Contacting potential students to determine their interest in the programs
Planning information sessions and events related to recruitment
Attending all, and presenting at some, of the program information sessions
Preparing materials and PowerPoint presentations
Working with graduates participating in recruitment efforts
Making follow-up calls and sending e-mail blasts to information session attendees
Representing the EMBA and PMBA program at WNY Adult Education Consortium events
Setting up shadowing experiences for high potential EMBA and PMBA students
Meeting with potential students that wish to visit campus for more information
Administrative duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining CRM records necessary to recruit, track and market to potential, current and past students of the EMBA and PMBA programs
Counseling applicants to determine which program is best for them, sharing their strengths with the review committee and communicating to applicants which areas they may need to improve
Obtaining application and enrollment information for incoming students
Promote UB's Executive and Professional MBA programs by implementing recruitment strategies aimed at local and regional working professionals and the business community. Specific tasks would include:
Assist with email campaigns
Secure opportunities for Assistant Dean to speak with local civic organizations about CED programs
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director and Assistant Dean that are needed by the program and/or tasks that take advantage of this person's personal interests or talents.

A bachelor's degree in business or a similar field and two or more years of full-time customer service and/or sales and marketing experience. Must also have a command of Microsoft office and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
