Are you a leader and subject matter expertise in project management, scope definition, risk identification, methodology and resource allocation or facilitation? Are you able to connect several projects into a seamless delivery service model? Lead large scale highly complex programs delivering healthcare services to our federal clients? These programs could include service elements crossing business teams and operating groups to coordinate and complete projects, define performance and results and manage vendors and service providers. The Program Manager will ensure compliance with all contract deliverable requirements associated with contract status reporting, financial projections, subcontractor estimates, security coordination and staffing requirements. Along with the other Program Management Office (PMO) team members, serve as the primary company liaison to the Client PMO office. Prepare accurate and timely reports while ensuring that all contractual and corporate compliance procedures are met. Develop and present both contractual and financial presentations to senior level client and corporate staff. Make meaningful process improvements and develop business plans and cost benefit analysis for assessment by Senior Leadership. Manage all aspects of the program related to service delivery, compliance and contract change. Responsibilities also include managing more than one project simultaneously along with providing technical support to other projects and assisting with business proposals.You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Required Qualifications:BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and/or equivalent education and experience10+ years of project management experience5+ years of experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisionsDemonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and conciselyIntermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePointExcellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple prioritiesAbility to run organized meetings, ensure actions and notes are tracked and pursuedAbility to expose and manage project risks, including identification, analysis and mitigation strategiesExperience in understanding and complying with FAR requirements Willingness and ability to travel as requiredAbility to obtain a government clearance or access card Preferred Qualifications: PMP Certification or actively pursuingHealthcare experienceFederal program experienceExperience working directly with external clients Careers with Optum.
