Nemours is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (FULL-TIME) to join our Nemours Children's Specialty Care team in Jacksonville, Florida.

This position is responsible for performing as a customer service representative for all divisions. Accurately obtain and enter all essential information needed to complete registration and schedule appointments while following standard business practices. Provide excellent service to internal and external customers as a member of the PSS team.
Customer Service: answer phone lines in a prompt and courteous manner, and handle appropriately.
Registration: collect, maintain and insure accuracy of patient and insurance information through the use of standard business practices.
Scheduling: understand visit types and proper utilization of questionnaires to efficiently schedule appointments.
Communication: daily management of electronic communication (Outlook messages, WebXchange, EPIC messages, Telephone Encounters).
Mailing of appointment reminder letters with appropriate packets as assigned.
Ability to cover outbound work as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of medical office or customer service healthcare experience preferred.
One (1) year of call center experience preferred.
