The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and UMass Memorial Health Care is recruiting for a fifth Pediatric Pulmonologist. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology, with an interest in academic medicine, and possess strong clinical and teaching skills. The Division currently consists of four pulmonologists, three nurse practitioners, a social worker, a nutritionist and strong support staff. Large asthma management, chronic lung disease, sleep disorders and diagnostic programs are ongoing. The 125 patient Cystic Fibrosis Center is engaged in cutting edge translational research programs. Additionally, the Division is the home for the National Association of Pediatric Home and Community Care and is involved with the Prevention and Wellness Trust Fund for the state of Massachusetts, helping with program development and coordination of care for children with high risk asthma.
