Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities:Assist in the administrative process of obtaining the charts needed either by accessing the EMR's directly or retrieving the charts that have been faxed into our system, which does include some degree of chasing the chart (calling the facility for them to fax the notes into our dedicated fax system this allows the coder to focus on coding)Fax provider queries for documentation clarification following set standardsAttaching provider documentation to the correct patient's chart in the correct queueCross train and work in other processes when neededOther duties as assignedRepetitive movements including: sitting for long periods of time, using keyboard and mouse
Required Qualifications:An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED1 - 2 years of experience performing administrative task in a corporate environmentAvailable to work 40 hours per week (during regular business hours) and overtime as required according to the needs of the businessPrior stable work experienceAbility to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitiveFamiliarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a remote environmentHealthcare experience Careers with Optum.
