We are looking to hire an Investment Writer to cover maternity leave for a period of 12 months.
You will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality written investment content - regular reports and a variety of ad-hoc materials where appropriate, including performance notes, thematic pieces and presentations for a diverse client base.
* To generate additional content for a wide range of stakeholders, including sales queries/client queries, press requests and marketing materials * To develop solid working relationships with our investment teams, working closely with the investment specialists in particular to gain investment insight to be used in day-to-day work * To develop and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of allocated funds and the markets in which they invest, becoming experts in the communication of those funds * To be a key point of contact for the wider business in relation to allocated funds, as well as protecting the integrity of investment messaging * To understand and adapt to client requirements

This role is ideally suited to you if you are an excellent writer, able to clearly articulate complex investment themes and can demonstrate:
* Strong communication skills * Flexible and adaptable * Organised and deadline driven * A dynamic person with strong interpersonal skills: ability to establish credibility and build good relationships with investment specialists and distribution channels * Strong communication skills: highly articulate, able to distil and communicate key investment messages to a range of audiences. Presentations skills will also be favourably looked on. * Good listening skills * Very good organisational skills: keen awareness of and ability to manage and meet various deadlines and priorities from different sources, ensuring timeliness of delivery * Proactive nature: ability to anticipate future requirements and generate ideas
Knowledge and Experience
* Solid investment knowledge -IMC preferable / may be studying for CFA * Understanding of the fund management industry and client demands
