Work with supply chain and clinical teams to ensure supplier performance
Coordinates the collection, documentation, and reporting for defective product, recalled product, and product with reported quality issues.
Champions problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers and customers to eliminate product quality issues and supplier non-conformance
Work with Value Analysis and product trials in the evaluation and qualification of new supplier products, identification of substitute supplies, and replacement of defective products
Coordinates the development, deployment, and analysis of Supplier Score Cards with the clinical departments and the supplier base
Establish and evaluate short and long term supplier quality goals
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies, proactively question existing processes and procedures, and implement change to gain efficiencies
Able to operate multiple systems and databases including, but not limited to, Recall Management Software, Supplier Web Databases, MS Access and MS Excel.
Accountable for communicating upcoming changes, issues and product quality trends to clinical Leadership and Department Directors in a timely clear

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience plus 3 years healthcare supply chain experience, which includes 2 years’ experience working with suppliers and 2 years working with medical supply quality required.
Must have knowledge of product development, production, defect and recall processes and understand FDA defective reporting processes and how these process relate to patient safety.
Prefer a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Master's degree.
Prefer 5 years healthcare supply chain experience which includes 3 years working with suppliers and 3 years working with medical supply quality.
