This position will be responsible for the overall direction and implementation of the nationally renowned Nurse Family Partnership Program in the eight counties of Northeast Tennessee. The position requires strong leadership and project management skills. The nurse leader will ensure that the strategic community partnerships and alliances necessary to support first-time, low-income mothers in accessing services via the NFP model will be sustained beyond the three-year grant cycle. The director is responsible for the supervision and direction of BSN RNs who provide support, case management, and nursing care to families enrolled in the program throughout Northeast Tennessee. He/she performs on-going needs assessments, administers and manages a $1 million-plus yearly budget with sound financial skills and knowledge, develops and implements operational policies, and assures the delivery of quality health care.
