Director of CRM Administration and Systems Integration

The Director of CRM Administration and Systems Integration role ensures that we are using information technology effectively and meeting the operational and workflow needs of multiple user groups within the Harvard Medical School (HMS) Office for External Education (External Education). External Education is in the middle of a CRM implementation and the Director will manage this project to ensure we are meeting key milestones and budget parameters. Salesforce is the system of record integrating our core operations including; marketing, business development, program applications, financial integration and client management. The Director will work closely with HMS IT, the central IT department for HMS, and serve as the lead resource for various technology-related activities and future system needs for External Education.
We are seeking someone with excellent technical, communication and project management skills who can interface directly with both senior management and individual colleagues to understand their needs and administer and enhance information systems accordingly. The Director must be confident in the hands-on configuration of the Salesforce CRM platform. Additionally, the Director will serve as the "go to" for users, promoting adoption, providing training, and more. Finally, the Director will work with internal user teams to document needs, develop and test new features, and ensure successful rollouts.
The Director will manage outside consultants and a Junior Administrator and will report to the Executive Director of the Office for External Education.

Union: 00 - Non Union, Exempt or Temporary
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field with 8 or more years' experience, Salesforce.com Administrator certification, 5 or more years of Salesforce administration experience, Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications.
Ability to build/troubleshoot HTML/CSS, Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and AMPscript, Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard Salesforce.com reporting functionality, Previous business process re‐engineering experience using Salesforce.com, Experience working in complex, matrix organizations, managing people, and projects. Detail oriented and self‐starter with strong written and interpersonal skills, Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, Excellent communication skills with an enthusiastic personality, Strong general problem-solving skills using data and software applications.
