As Manager, Organizational Development, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of all wellness, culture, engagement, leadership and organizational development programs. Leading the strategic direction of the department, you will implement progressive organizational development processes to advance the development and engagement of MPI employees.
Provide direction on the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the organizational development business plan.
Facilitate developing, improving and maintaining various corporate-level organizational development initiatives such as talent management, performance management, leadership development, succession planning, coaching and mentoring.
Partner with senior leaders to execute on the Corporate Learning Strategy.
Identify, develop and execute employee engagement and culture enhancement activities.
Oversee workplace wellness programming and govern the Education Assistance Program.
Oversee the delivery of training associated with organizational and leadership development strategies and programs.
Design tools and processes to build people capability including performance management, individual development planning and ongoing coaching.
In collaboration with senior leaders, identify organizational development gaps and act as an influential partner in defining long-term strategic priorities.
Provide leadership, coaching and direction to the Organizational Development team.
University degree preferably in management, organizational development, human resources or another related field.
Completion of one or more of the following professional designations and certifications is an asset:
Certified Professional in Human Resources Professional (CPHR)
Certificate in Organizational Design
Seven years of related organizational and leadership development experience in a corporate environment, of which at least three years is at the management level.
Extensive experience leading and/or managing operational and project teams and large scale corporate-level projects.
Knowledge of organizational development, human resource development and change management principles and practices.
Ability to build collaborative work relationships based on mutual trust and demonstrated integrity with all levels of leadership and external organizations/vendors.
Ability to analyze complex data and develop sound recommendations while working under stressful conditions and tight timeframes.
