The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for generating leads, lead management, sales presentations, closing sales, and for meeting monthly sales expectations. This Sales Counselor professional position is also located in Lauderdale by the Sea, FL., which is very rich in many assets. It is also a thriving entrepreneurial community making it a great potential home for a qualified independent senior living sales director.
The main focus of this position will be:
Maintaining and/or improving upon the occupancy level and revenue production of the community in accordance with the marketing and business plans to include completing sales calls and closing sales
Developing and maintaining relationships and generating leads through residents, family, and professional referral sources.
Planning, coordinating, and implementing monthly prospect and/or referral source activities and events
Strengthening the entire sales team through strategic efforts and guidance
Possess very strong consultative selling skills
Possess knowledge of sales and marketing to include principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and/or services; and possess a strong knowledge and understanding of the senior market
Demonstrate an ability to develop successful sales techniques and sales systems
Be a self-starter and able take charge of the multi-faceted senior living strategies
Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel and Windows and with lead management software
Able to work well under stress, complete assignments accurately, work independently, and manage time effectively
Must exhibit a high degree of initiative and creativity, good judgment, and professional ethics
Possess excellent communication skills
