Responsible to the Director as the senior professional responsible for coordinating and directing all functions related to student services in compliance with federal and state disability laws, i.e., conducting intakes, reviewing documentation of disability; determining reasonable and appropriate accommodations for students with disabilities; providing direct service to self-identified students based on disability; providing support to students and faculty designed to facilitate program and facility access; providing faculty with Faculty Accommodation Forms and consultation for accommodating students in the classroom; collaborating with faculty to develop accessible course materials; maintaining confidential files on students with self-identified disabilities; assisting with supervision of daily office administrative functions; acting as the Director in his/her absence; and performing other duties as assigned.
