Serves as the primary contact for the development, administration and on-going maintenance of the HR website and HR web based applications. This includes providing overall administration and consultation of HR website, HR web applications, bug fixes, user access and new application development. Duties will also include serving as the co-security admin. for the PeopleSoft HR application. In addition to managing user access, the incumbent will help develop integrations, participate in system upgrades and assist in end user problem resolutions. Performs other duties as assigned. JOB DUTIES:
Web Development and Administration: 60% - Essential
Develops, documents, maintains and supports various HR web applications, and web sites which support the initiatives and business needs of the Office of Human Resources. Consults on HR projects which may require a technical solution. Keeps up to date on latest trends around web development. Communicates effectively to end users regarding outages, maintenance, patches and updates to web applications.
Security Administration: 20% - Essential
Administers user access for the PeopleSoft HR system. Facilitates security audits, participates in end user testing during upgrades as the subject matter expert for application security. Provides prompt customer service for resolving end user access issues.
IT Support for the Office of Human Resources: 10% - Essential
Supports HR employees overall IT needs with regards to desktop, laptop, printers, conference room technology, software applications. Helping resolve various end user technical issues. Keeps up to date on latest technology solutions. Collaborates with University tech support groups to find solutions to issues.
Other duties as assigned 10% - Non-Essential MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree in communications, computer science, or a related field and experience in information technology. Related experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. RESPONSIBILITIES:
