Maret School is looking for talented teachers for our after school program, serving students in K-8th grade. AfterSchool teachers work between 20-35 hours per week.
Planning and leading activities for students in small and large groups during recreational and activity times.
Supervising and supporting students with homework completion.
Implementing a social curriculum and discipline approach consistent with the school day program
Clear and professional communication with parents, teachers and school staff to insure collaboration.
Attending and actively engaging in staff meetings and planning times.
The position provides aspiring teachers with the opportunity to develop teaching and leadership skills, while learning from experienced teachers.
We seek to fill positions as soon as possible.
Requirements: A high school diploma, undergrad completion or near completion in a field related to education, first Aid/CPR training (preferred, but not required), and experience supervising and teaching school-age students.
Candidates should enjoy working with children, have strong classroom management skills, and be strong team players. They should have strong communication skills to work with teachers, parents, and students and the physical stamina needed to work with active young children. Experience working in diverse and inclusive settings is appreciated. ?
