Which is why your performance and innovation will find a reception here like nowhere else while you do your life's best work.(sm) As a Database Analyst within our Quest Diagnostics team, you will be responsible for developing reports for assigned customers and business segments. Primary Responsibilities:Design and deliver scheduled and ad hoc reports for Quest Diagnostics that provide actionable insight into Revenue Services operations outcomes Create SQL databases and leverage them to create impactful reports Analyze benchmarking data, reports, processes, and measurements Develop/document business, analysis and reporting requirements Implement improvements to existing reporting processes by automating where needed, and migrating existing Access-based processes to the SQL environment Evaluate and prioritize the need for database changes and enhancements Explore new data sources, database technologies and data presentment techniques, determine value, and collaborate with team to implement
Required Qualifications:2+ years of professional business experience with emphasis in financial analysis and/or other analytical functions 2+ years of professional experience with SQL Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel Strong background with Access Passion for keeping pace with advancing database technology and techniques Attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently Strong communication skills, written and verbal Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent field Ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence across a matrix environment Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive results Desire to make an impact, manage multiple tasks and shift priorities quicklyCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
