Contribute to the Sales Strategy Plan and Sales Action Plan.
Generate leads and aggressively penetrate new accounts in the Japan region via own network, industry events, networking opportunities, cold calling and cross selling.
Drive revenues from existing and new accounts.
Execute sales and business development activities for the assigned region.
Develop, maintain and monitor a pipeline of qualified business opportunities.
Organise and balance tactical activity with strategic planning whilst also analysing sales opportunities and market trends in the business context.
Oversee and own elements of the sales process where required; typical activities to include:
Participate in initial contact and prospect qualification.
Manage presenting the service offering to identified prospects.
Participate in set up and execution of requirements/scoping meetings.
Assist with formal responses to any client generated RFPs.
Negotiate agreement of contract pricing.
Obtain due diligence documentation from prospective clients.
Manage the prospect through internal due diligence approval processes.
Work with the legal department to agree and sign contract.
Work with the conversions team to ensure the successful go-live of new client.
Manage the handover of new clients to the account management team.
Maintain appropriate records of all prospecting and sales activity.
Represent Broadridge at sales meetings, seminars, trade shows and industry events.
