This is the place to do your life's best work.(sm) The Provider Relations Advocate supporting Wyoming's Medicaid Product (WYhealth) will be accountable for our Providers in the Western Region of Wyoming. In this capacity, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with Providers via consultative, face - to - face interactions related to provider education, outreach, communicating the results of scorecards, etc. You will work directly with the Providers to ensure their understanding of various scorecard measures and results. You will also provide tools, training and educational resources when there are opportunities for enhancements. Due to our requirement for face to face provider involvement, there is an expectation of 35%+ travel within assigned Region. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and foster relationships with Wyoming Medicaid Providers with in the region to include (but not limited to): Patient Centered Medical Homes, Other Primary Care Providers (Internal Medicine, Family Practice, OB / GYN, Pediatrics, etc...), Specialists, Hospitals, Nursing facilities, Behavioral Health Provider, Public Health Nursing Development and delivery of Provider Score Cards and Care Gap Reports Provider Newsletters and Bulletins Regional Provider Education and Training (CME, targeted education opportunities, etc....) Involvement in Community Baby Showers within the Region Act as a liaison between WYhealth Departments and Providers for directed provider outreach and education Attend Provider / Society / Association meetings as needed Providing support to the WYhealth program to ensure that all contractual requirements are met
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma 2+ years of provider relations and / or provider network experience 1+ years' experience with Medicaid regulations Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and remain on task Willingness to travel 35%+ within the state of WY and the designated region (Cheyenne) Must reside in the state of WY Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines from multi - staff members within the departmentPreferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Familiarity with WYhealthCareers with Optum.
