Posting Summary: The Department of Dermatology is seeking a senior administrative assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to the Department Chair and leadership team. The incumbent works directly with the Department Chair and leadership team for coordination of meetings, events and travel, preparation of presentations and written reports and to serve as a liaison for patients and visitors. The incumbent provides access support for the Chair and residency. The position provides administrative support for the Clerkship and medical education programs along with departmental administrative support.
The candidate must possess superior written and verbal communication skills as well as strong organizational and administrative abilities. The candidate must show initiative and flexibility to respond to the varying demands of working in a fast-paced environment. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of experience. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of administrative support.

Required Minimum Level of Experience: Considerable - 4 to 7 years
Required Specific Experience: A minimum of four years administrative experience is required.
Preferred Minimum Level of Experience: Some - up to 4 years
Preferred Specific Experience: Experience in a medical or academic office is preferred.
