State University of New York at Alfred (www.alfredstate.edu) is currently seeking full time, tenure track Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering Technology department to teach in a Construction Management Curriculum. Anticipated Start date is August 2018 for the Fall 2018 semester. Teaching (in structures, mechanical systems, materials, BIM, and construction management and construction management software), advising, accreditation preparation and assessment and program marketing are required.
Minimum: 3 years Construction Industry experience, masters holding professional licensure or related construction industry certification. (i.e. AIC Constructor, PMI Project Management Professional, etc.)
Preferred: 3 years U.S. Construction Industry experience, PhD with a track record of documented quality teaching.
